Job Summary

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Controller to join our leadership team at a premier luxury real estate development company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit management. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial accounting, timely monthly/quarterly/annual closings, and compliance with UAE statutory requirements. A strong understanding of UAE financial regulations, including VAT, FTA, and RERA, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and complete financial records across all real estate projects.
  • Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
  • Ensure timely and compliant tax filings, including VAT and corporate tax, with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
  • Coordinate and manage statutory and internal audits, acting as the key liaison for external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Supervise accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring they align with project contracts, construction milestones, and vendor agreements.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, escrow account reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.
  • Monitor compliance with RERA financial regulations and ensure adherence to escrow and trust account protocols.
  • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Professional certification: CA, CPA, or ACCA.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
