Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi is seeking an attentive Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will wash, store, and manage dishes, support chefs, and uphold hygiene standards to ensure smooth food and beverage service.

The role requires at least 1 year in a luxury brand, a proactive, team-focused attitude, and strong English communication. This is a full-time position with a fast-paced environment in a renowned hotel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.
• Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to tasks.
• High level of understanding of stewarding operations.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items; stand and walk for long periods.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing) with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and back-of-house operations.
• Wash, clean and store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and utensils.
• Ensure proper use and care of dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling; maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
• Restock kitchen supplies such as cutlery, plates and glassware.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and moving supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions, shortages or breakages to the supervisor.
• Support banquet or event setups by ensuring adequate supplies are available.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Stewarding Manager or Executive Chef.
