Job summary

Ounass in Dubai is seeking a curious Buying Intern to join the Kids Buying team. You will gain hands-on experience in luxury fashion buying while supporting day-to-day activities behind the Kids category.

Working with Merchandising, Planning, Creative and Marketing, you will help research trends, organise product information, assist with seasonal launches and help ensure accurate product data across platforms.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in Fashion, Business, Buying, Merchandising or a related field.
• Genuine interest in luxury fashion and curiosity about the Kids category.
• Awareness of kidswear brands, products and emerging trends is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail when handling product information and data.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and digital systems, with a willingness to learn new tools.
• Proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to ask questions and take ownership of tasks.
• Collaborative team member who enjoys cross-functional work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous internship or work experience in fashion retail, buying or merchandising is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Kids Buying team with day-to-day administration and coordination of the category.
• Assist with product setup, ensuring product details and pricing are accurate.
• Help maintain product and brand information across internal systems and trackers.
• Support preparation of seasonal range reviews, buying meetings and category presentations.
• Research kidswear trends, brands and market activity to inform the assortment.
• Track samples, product deliveries and launch timelines, coordinating with internal teams and brand partners.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Creative, Marketing and Operations to launch products and campaigns.
• Assist with competitor and market research and share observations with the team.
• Support organization and maintenance of product samples and showroom materials.
• Help monitor category performance and compile reports and updates.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the Kids customer experience and category proposition.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
