Job summary

The Meydan Hotel in Dubai invites an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our front-of-house team. You will warmly greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience in line with Meydan’s luxury standards.

You will maintain a welcoming atmosphere, upsell menu items, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure comfort upon arrival and departure.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of menu items and upsell food and beverage options.
• Prepare tables, assist with seating, and ensure correct order entry.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and in line with hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and standard settings, and manage guest inquiries courteously.
• Address dietary/allergy needs and communicate with relevant staff.
• Handle payments and guest charges with accuracy.
• Monitor stock and assist in inventory management as needed.
• Adapt to different areas within the F&B division as required.
• Comply with HACCP, health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
