Job summary

Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort, part of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, seeks a guest-focused Food & Beverage teammate to deliver professional service in a luxury setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accuracy, drink and dish knowledge, and allergen awareness.

You will work with Kitchen, Bar, and Stewarding teams, maintain spotless service areas, handle POS transactions, and support colleagues to sustain the brand promise of hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage or restaurant service experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Greet guests warmly and assist them throughout their dining experience.
• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders.
• Have full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Have good knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, and special offers.
• Make appropriate recommendations and assist guests with menu selections.
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
• Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly set.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Follow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
• Be familiar with the Hotel Food Safety Management System.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Assist with restaurant setup and ensure the outlet is ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, service stations, and work areas.
• Communicate effectively with the Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and other departments.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and professional team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
