Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a Lifeguard to join the dedicated Lifeguard team. You will ensure guest safety, adhere to MO standards, and support learning and development activities within the pool and spa areas.

The role requires certified lifesaving and lifeguarding recognized by the UAE, at least 1 year of lifeguard experience, and strong English communication. Hotel experience in the Middle East is advantageous, with a professional demeanor and guest‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Senior School qualification or equivalent is required.
• Certified lifesaving and lifeguarding, recognized by the UAE.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a lifeguard.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel is an advantage.
• Mid­dle East region experience is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of pool area and guests.
• Respond immediately to emergencies and provide care until EMS arrives.
• Enforce all hotel policies and safety procedures.
• Represent Mandarin Oriental as a hotel ambassador at all times.
