Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping and laundry operations. You will operate washing, drying, and dry-cleaning equipment, ensure items meet quality standards, and maintain cleanliness and records throughout the process.

No previous experience is required; training will be provided. This on-site role involves physical activity and adherence to safety standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry-cleaning, and drying machinery.
• Add appropriate chemicals during laundry processing as required.
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures according to the fabrics contained in each load.
• Inspect articles removed from washers, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines for cleanliness.
• Transfer clean articles into designated linen carts.
• Fold cleaned items to the required size either manually or with a folding machine.
• Maintain accurate records of items processed through the laundry.
• Complete other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
• Inspect articles for stains, damage, and overall condition during processing.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and filters; maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements in quality and efficiency.
