Job Purpose

Emirates Skywards seeks to be an inspiring and engaging global loyalty programme for Emirates and FlyDubai. There are a number of key roles within our Skywards Group that are essential to the success of this programme. From product design, e-commerce and analytics, through to business development, strategic partnerships and member engagement our Skywards team is filled with exciting opportunities!

As Loyalty Fraud And Data Protection Specialist you will execute and coordinate tasks related to fraud risk management, data privacy, and governance to proactively protect member accounts, data, and miles. Provide support executing the Loyalty fraud risk strategy, as well as new initiatives, while working with cross-functional stakeholders during new project launches. Perform periodic fraud risk reviews and data analysis to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Manage security platform performance by collaborating with technology vendors, maintaining issue and rule registers, updating machine learning outcomes, and analysing business rules to improve fraud detection accuracy.
  • Drive loyalty fraud mitigation initiatives by creating project briefs, supporting implementation of new controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, Data Privacy, etc.).
  • Analyse enterprise data to identify fraud trends, anomalies, and risks. Generate and share KPI dashboards covering metrics such as fraud rate, OTP rate, reject rate, and false positives.
  • Monitor and assess fraud and data protection risks, conduct risk reviews for new products and partnerships, and provide regular reports and insights to leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with access controls and audit requirements by conducting periodic access reviews, maintaining the Access Management Framework, and coordinating internal/external audits, including tracking audit actions.
  • Lead incident response and team development, ensuring adherence to the Incident Response Plan (IRP), conducting impact analysis and post-incident reviews, maintaining incident records, and coaching the team to deliver high-quality, SLA-compliant fraud investigations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (12+3 or equivalent) with over 5 years of experience in Commercial/Sales and Commercial/Analytics (Other).
  • Experience of working in an analytical role, with a focus on Fraud Prevention, Fraud Detection, Data security, or Risk Management.
  • Proficiency in fraud concepts and controls, process flows, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Data & Analytics skills (Python, R, SQL) using platforms like Snowflake, Data Lakes, and visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to manage simultaneous, cross-functional projects under pressure.
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to present complex data and findings to all stakeholders.
