Job description

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities
  • Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
  • Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
  • Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds the set operational KPIs.
  • Monitor coordinator and associate performance and coach them when needed.
  • Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations, and communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
  • Interview candidates for associate roles.
  • Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates; maintain accurate administrative tasks.
  • Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics, assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance.
  • Help with training and mentoring new Associates, ensuring they are equipped to carry out their tasks.
  • Follow up on and resolve any process‑related issues as needed.
  • Be flexible to work in different shifts and take overtime when required.
  • Resource your function from a personal standpoint, managing training needs, absences, performance, coaching and production monitoring.
