Context & Environment

Context & Environment

  • Internal interaction - TELBU / TEMME Employees (Cross departmental collaboration, with Planning, Production, logistics, Projects & Maintenance, HSSEQ, CS, Sales, etc.), TGP, TSMS, TE Audit / Compliance Teams
  • External interaction - Transport crew, transporters, and etc. Especially with transporters - he is the first site level contact point and is critical from this angle to ensure company image.
Activities
  • Collaborate closely with plant production planning teams to ensure a seamless supply of additives and packaging materials from the warehouse, utilizing plant logistics vehicles as required.
  • Maintain and update the QR label database for packaged additives to guarantee traceability and compliance.
  • Oversee accurate entry of inbound product data into SAP systems, coordinating with warehouse and plant staff as necessary.
  • Direct, supervise, and motivate shift personnel, ensuring strict adherence to HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate agility in responding to evolving production schedules and transportation needs, maintaining operational continuity.
  • Provide timely support to TMMEFZE by reporting any anticipated product shortages for the following day, referencing the weekly production schedule.
  • Ensure achievement of established productivity KPIs, in line with HSSEQ and energy management requirements.
  • Identify and propose system improvements to surpass customer expectations and enhance logistics efficiency.
  • Manage inventory effectively, minimizing non-moving or slow-moving stock through collaboration with production and relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional logistics-related assignments as delegated by management, supporting broader organizational objectives.
  • Foster strong internal relationships across teams, including contract staff, drivers, and production personnel, to drive cohesive logistics operations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily dispatches to meet delivery commitments.
  • Manage inbound logistics operations, including the offloading and storage of packed additives, ensuring efficient and secure placement within designated rack systems.
  • Supervise warehousing activities for packed products, maintaining proper storage standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Oversee shift-based logistics functions to support Lube and GMU production units, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics, planning and dispatching shipments to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize logistics processes, proactively recommending and implementing operational improvements.
  • Promptly address any incidents or hazards by collaborating with the HSSEQ Supervisor and Logistics Manager to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all Quality, HSSEQ, and Energy policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
HSSEQ Objectives
  • Ensure compliance of all HSSEQ requirements as mentioned under Accountabilities.
  • Promptly report near misses, incidents, hazards, and workplace injuries to the Line Manager in accordance with Quality, HSE, and Energy policies and timelines.
  • Consistently uphold the Group's HSSEQ policy as well as the affiliate's Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy procedures.
  • Drive achievement and continual improvement of KPI and EnPI targets supporting company-wide HSSEQ and Energy objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance QHSE and Energy competencies; facilitate knowledge transfer and training for team members as needed.
  • Lead or contribute to investigations and analyses of incidents when required.
  • Undertake additional duties or projects as delegated by management, pertaining to the scope of your position.
  • Adhere to the Group HSSEQ Charter, MAESTRO standards, and affiliate HSSEQ policies and procedures at all times. Exhibit professionalism, vigilance, and a proactive approach to HSSEQ matters across all business activities.
  • Follow compliance protocols specific to your executive responsibilities.
  • Abide by the TELBU Safe Work Permit program in alignment with your assigned duties.
  • Strictly enforce all HSSEQ requirements, exercising the authority to halt operations if safety is compromised.
Compliance Objectives
  • Ensure full adherence to the company's compliance program, its policies and procedures including economic sanctions and export control in all professional activities.
  • Promptly notify the compliance officer / economic sanctions referent of any instances of noncompliance or violations of economic sanctions or export control that comes to my attention.

Candidate Profile

Knowledge :
  • Solid understanding of logistics operations, including forklift usage, related documentation, and fleet management practices.
  • Proficiency in forklift driving is essential for effectively overseeing and evaluating workload distribution involving forklift activities.
  • Fundamental experience managing logistics within a plant or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) management systems.
Skills :
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Strong leadership and personnel management capabilities
  • Effective interpersonnel and communication skills
  • Valid forklift driving license is a must
Experience :
  • Minimum 3-5 years qualification experience in Logistics preferably in Lubricants or similar industry.
Education :
  • Minimum higher secondary education / equivalent / above
