Job description

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive innovation within our busy Transportation network.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet and exceed operational KPIs.
4. Monitor performance and coach team members; partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
5. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality.
6. Interview candidates for associate roles.
7. Brief and monitor workload of drivers and associates, ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately.
8. Measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics; assist with performance tracking and reporting.
9. Train and mentor new associates, providing necessary knowledge for task execution.
10. Follow up on and resolve process-related issues.
11. Perform physical activities such as pushing carts up to 100 pounds and lifting packages up to 15 kg.
12. Work flexibly in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
13. Sufficiently resource the function through training, absence management, performance coaching, and productivity monitoring.
