Responsibilities
  • Manage all Logistics activities for the organization, including logistics planning, supplier negotiation, and documentation.
  • Ensure effective communication with production, purchase team, and stores to promote a healthy supply chain.
  • Oversee and manage logistics operations.
  • Ensure timely execution of organizing and managing transportation and fleet.
  • Keep track of cost, productivity, data accuracy and timeline for department deliverables.
  • Analyze and optimize logistical procedures.
  • Negotiate the price and contract with suppliers for the best rate for material.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Select prospective vendors and negotiate a contract.
  • Evaluate vendors based on quality, timeline, price, and process.
  • Schedule deliveries and ensure timely pickup.
  • Monitor shipments, costs, timeline, and productivity.
  • Ensure department KPIs are met.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
Requirements
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction industry.
