Job summary

Want More is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Jabal-Ali, UAE to manage end-to-end shipment coordination and documentation. The role demands strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preference for African candidates; accommodation is provided, and you will join a team focused on efficient, compliant logistics operations. You will coordinate shipments, liaise with suppliers and customers, and monitor routes to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with logistics software is a plus.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• African candidates preferred; other nationalities welcome to apply.
• Must be willing to live in provided accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and update relevant databases.
• Plan and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.
• Provide regular reports on shipment status to management.
