Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the transportation, shipment, and delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel. The role ensures that all logistics activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage vessel, air, and land transportation schedules in line with project requirements.
- Liaise with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost‑effective logistics support.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and offshore logistics standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed for offshore operations.
- Support mobilization and demobilization of personnel and assets.
- Track logistics costs and prepare reports for management review.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues or delays promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of logistics coordination experience in the oil & gas industry, with a focus on offshore projects.
- Strong understanding of marine and air freight operations, customs, and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with offshore safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
