Al-Futtaim is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to welcome guests, share information about hotel facilities, and coordinate transportation at a Dubai-based hotel. Candidates should have at least one year of front desk experience, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a front desk or similar position, preferably in a 5-star property.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival with a warm welcome and maintain a positive first impression.
• Provide detailed knowledge of hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and refer issues to supervisor when needed.
• Coordinate guest transportation and airport transfer arrangements.
• Assist with flight arrivals, baggage clearance, and VIP arrivals coordination.
• Compile daily reports and monitor new bookings and changes.

Overview Of The Role

• The Lobby Ambassador is a front office role responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, offering personalized service, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Embracing the IHG brand values, the Ambassador serves as a key touchpoint for guest interactions, fostering genuine connections and promoting brand loyalty. Success in this role is marked by the ability to maintain exemplary standards of service, respond to guest inquiries and requests, and ensure smooth coordination of guest transportation and logistics.

What You Will Do

Guest Relations

• Project a first positive impression of the Hotel to arrival guests by extending a warm welcome.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel.
• Greets all guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest's name at every opportunity.
• Promotes IHG One Rewards programs.
• Attends to guest's complaints, inquiries and requests and referees problems to Supervisor or Duty Manager if unable to assist.

Transportation Coordination

• Handling all the airport pick up requests and drop off when required.
• Be present at all scheduled flight landings and assist incoming guests with baggage clearance and directing them to transport facilities.
• Coordinate with Managers and any other Department for VIP guests arrivals & transportation arrangements.
• Assist departing guests in pre-check in, ticketing, and baggage clearance or lost baggage.
• Maintain a good relation with IHG Airport Representative office in T3 and other partners.

Administrative Duties

• Compile and maintain daily reports and constantly checking for any new bookings and changes.
• Knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures, for programs such as Seasonal Packages, Frequent Flyers Programs, and Intercontinental Hotels Group Loyalty programs.
• Assist in any other duties when required by the Guest Relations and Reception Team.
• Maintains exemplary deportment standards of behaviour, appearance, and attitude expected in an IHG Brand.

Required Skills To Be Successful

• Excellent communication skills for guest and colleague interactions.
• Proficiency in English language; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong time management skills for task prioritization.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
