Responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0t across AFL locations and UAE.
• Maintain a 100% damage-free record and report incidents promptly.
• Accurately maintain vehicle log books per requirements.
• Adhere to Quality SOPs for driving and handling new vehicles.
• Present in uniform or PPE and interact professionally with customers.
• Scan and update bin locations using the RDT device.
• Collaborate with team and follow senior management instructions.
• Perform washing, cleaning, and fueling of new units and log fuel data in SMART Fill.

Overview Of The Role:

As a Light Vehicle Driver at Al-Futtaim Logistics, you are responsible for driving light vehicles and trucks to transport goods across various AFL locations in the UAE. Your main responsibilities include maintaining a damage-free record, adhering to company quality standards for vehicle handling, and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You play a crucial role in supporting the logistics operations while upholding the company's reputation for high service quality and efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0t at all AFL locations and throughout the UAE, including tasks such as port clearance, picking, binning, and scanning.
• Maintain a 100% damage-free record and timely report all accidents or incidents involving company property to supervisors.
• Accurately maintain vehicle log books in accordance with company requirements.
• Adhere to company Quality SOP for driving and handling new vehicles, ensuring all new QC initiatives are implemented and followed.
• Present in required uniform or PPE at all times and conduct oneself appropriately with internal and external customers.
• Scan and update the bin locations of all units using the RDT device.
• Collaborate with team members and follow the instructions of senior management and direct line manager.
• Perform washing, cleaning, and fueling of new units; and update the fuel date through the SMART Fill System.
