Responsibilities

• Operate light duty vehicles safely and legally.

• Assist with loading/unloading of materials as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Light Duty Driver to join our team for a 3-month contract for a shutdown project. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials and personnel to and from designated locations as per the project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate light duty vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport personnel, equipment, and materials to and from designated locations as per project requirements
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid UAE light vehicle driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a light duty driver in the UAE
• Familiarity with UAE roads and traffic laws
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects as needed
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours as per project requirements
• Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
