Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking a dependable Light Duty Driver for a 3-month shutdown project in Abu Dhabi. You will safely transport materials and personnel to designated locations in accordance with project requirements.

The role requires a valid UAE light vehicle license, at least 2 years' UAE experience, good communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. You must be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects, with flexible hours and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid UAE light vehicle driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a light duty driver in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE roads and traffic laws.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work flexible hours per project requirements.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate light duty vehicles in a safe and responsible manner following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport personnel, equipment and materials to and from designated locations as per project requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption and other relevant information.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
