Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai is seeking a Light Duty Driver to ensure safe, timely transport of items and to maintain fleet hygiene. You will follow UAE traffic rules, support our operations, and deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience of driving on UAE roads.
• Must have UAE Light Vehicle License.

Job Description / Role:

As a Light Duty Driver at Emirates Flight Catering, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of items, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and maintaining high standards of vehicle hygiene and customer service. You will play a vital role in supporting our operations by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and comply with UAE traffic rules with respect to the vehicle fleet size and report any health and safety hazards to immediate head.
• Assist in conducting drive test on new vehicles.
• Ensures vehicles are loaded correctly to avoid potential accidents with shifting loads making the vehicle unbalanced.
• Finds alternate routes and use prudent judgement in following logical sequences to reduce time, improve efficiency and fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate daily trips sheets and provide necessary data to the operations Assistant.
• Pick up and return processed items/linens to the various customers as per the schedule and adhoc requests thus ensuring satisfied customers.
• Maintain hygiene in the vehicle by removing dirt and soil on a regular basis depending on the usage, thus ensuring a well-maintained fleet and by minimizing the likelihood of contamination to the linen.
• Deals with the customers both external and internal in a polite and professional manner.

Experience Required: 2 years’ experience of driving on UAE roads.

Education Qualifications:

• High School Certificate
• UAE License for Light Duty vehicles (must have)
