Responsibilities: The Light Driver will be responsible for performing daily vehicle checks to ensure that the vehicle is in safe working condition before each trip. The successful candidate must also comply with all traffic laws and regulations at all times while operating the vehicle. In addition, they will be responsible for loading/unloading cargo or passengers onto/off the vehicle as required; ensuring that any items or packages are handled carefully; maintaining accurate records of trips including destinations and times; ensuring that any payments or fees are collected from passengers; refuelling when necessary; taking necessary precautions when parking vehicles; returning vehicles promptly after each trip; following emergency procedures when required; providing assistance to passengers if needed; adhering to safety protocols at all times; maintaining cleanliness in the vehicle at all times; performing other duties as assigned by management.
