Job summary

Confidential, an Oil & Gas EPC company in Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced Lifting Engineer / Appointed Person (AP) to support international projects. The role requires strong expertise in lifting operations, crane activities and heavy lifting safety management.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating and supervising lifting operations, maintaining lifting plans, and guiding signallers and slingers. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with lifting equipment.
• Certified Signaller/Slinger from an approved third-party training provider.
• Must hold a valid LEEA Appointed Person (AP) Certification.
• Appointment as an Appointed Person must be formally documented as part of the lifting plan.
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, heavy lifting methodologies, crane operations, lifting equipment, and oil & gas EPC safety standards and lifting regulations.

• Appointment as an Appointed Person must be formally documented as part of the lifting plan.
