Job summary

Qualifications

• LEEA certified (AP for Lifting Operation), engineering degree a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of lifting operations experience.

• Strong knowledge of local and international safety standards (OSHA/ISO).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with TAQA safety regulations and best practices.

• Develop and implement lift plans that outline the method, equipment, and safety measures required for each job.

• Ensure all lifting equipment is inspected, maintained, and certified in accordance with industry standards to prevent equipment failure.

• Coordinate with site supervisors and operators to schedule lifting activities, maximizing efficiency while minimizing downtime.

• Provide training and guidance to lifting team members, ensuring they are competent and aware of safety protocols.

• Monitor lifting operations in real-time, making adjustments as necessary to address any safety or operational issues.

• Document all lifting activities, including risk assessments, lift plans, and incident reports, for compliance and continuous improvement.

• Act as the primary point of contact for safety audits and inspections related to lifting operations.

• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in lifting equipment and safety practices.

• Foster a culture of safety within the team, encouraging open communication regarding safety concerns and suggestions.
