Job summary

Venus Infrastructure Contracting LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Appointed Person – Lifting to lead lifting planning and reviews. The role requires strong UAE lifting operations experience and the ability to prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate holds a Lifting Appointed Person certification, LIMS/HSE-PSW-CP-19, and has ADNOC exposure preferred. You will coordinate with site teams to ensure safe lifting operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of UAE experience.
• ADNOC experience preferred.
• Valid Lifting Appointed Person certification.
• Valid LIMS / HSE-PSW-CP-19 certification.
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of load calculations, sling tension, crane configuration/capacity, rigging arrangements, and ground bearing pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed lifting plans for lifting and rigging operations.
• Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments related to lifting activities.
• Perform and review load calculations and sling tension calculations.
• Review crane configuration and lifting capacity.
• Ensure appropriate rigging arrangements are planned and implemented.
• Assess ground bearing pressure and lifting conditions.
• Coordinate with site, HSE, and project teams to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with applicable project and HSE requirements.
