Job summary

Abacus Engineering Consultancy SP LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a LiDAR data specialist to process datasets, register, classify and clean point clouds, and generate accurate CAD drawings from the data.

You will produce topographic maps and surface models, prepare as-built drawings and deliverables, and ensure QA/QC while coordinating with survey teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with LiDAR data processing and point cloud management.
• Ability to produce CAD drawings from point clouds and create topographic maps.
• Familiarity with surveying coordination and QA/QC procedures.
• Proficiency with common LiDAR software and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process LiDAR datasets.
• Register align classify and clean point cloud data.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from point cloud datasets.
• Generate topographic maps contours DTMs DEMs TIN models and surface models.
• Prepare as-built drawings and engineering deliverables.
• Perform QA QC and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with survey teams consultants contractors and clients.
• Manage large LiDAR datasets and maintain project data integrity.
