Job summary

Via Medica International Healthcare, in association with International SOS, is seeking a compassionate Clinical Psychologist to support students within the Student Wellbeing team. You will perform psychological assessments, provide counselling, and crisis intervention to promote a positive campus environment.

The role involves developing treatment plans, maintaining confidential records, and collaborating with academic and support staff to deliver psychoeducational programs.

Qualifications

• Valid DOH License as a Clinical Psychologist (mandatory).
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a school, college, or university setting is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and provide individual counselling
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis support
• Develop treatment plans and maintain confidential clinical records
• Collaborate with academic and student support teams to enhance student wellbeing
• Facilitate mental health awareness programs and psychoeducational workshops
• Refer students to external healthcare providers when appropriate
