Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the library. This includes cataloguing books and other materials; assisting patrons with locating information; maintaining library databases; managing digital collections; supervising staff; planning library events; maintaining library policies, procedures and standards; conducting research projects; developing programs; preparing reports on library activities, programs and services; providing reference services to patrons; developing new ways to increase circulation of library materials. The candidate will also be responsible for training staff on new technologies used in the library, such as computer systems, databases, etc.
