Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners

We are looking for an experienced librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be a professional with excellent organizational and communication skills, and an enthusiasm for helping others.

The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing and maintaining library resources, including books, magazines, newspapers, catalogues, periodicals and other relevant media. They will also provide reference and research services to library patrons, such as selecting material for purchase or recommending sources of information. Additionally, they will assist with the acquisition of new materials and equipment.

The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of library cataloguing systems and experience in using computers to access information sources. They should also have a strong customer service orientation and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members. The ability to speak another language is desirable but not a requirement.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700 per month, with the opportunity to apply for residence visa for those who are not from Abu-Dhabi originally.
