Job Description

The Librarian is responsible for organizing and managing the library's collections of books, periodicals, documents, audiovisual materials and other resources. They must also provide assistance to library users in finding the materials they are looking for. This will involve cataloguing books, magazines, newspapers, audio-visual materials and other resources; conducting research; maintaining library equipment; answering questions from library patrons; and providing reference services.
