Librarian

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: 1600 AED

We are looking for a professional and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate should have a passion for research, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of the position is to manage the library's collections, both print and digital resources. This includes cataloguing, classifying, sorting and issuing books, periodicals and other materials.
• You will be responsible for managing library patrons and providing reference services to them.

Requirements

• Knowledge of library systems including cataloguing software and databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with best practices related to library operations to ensure the smooth running of the library.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with immigrants is preferred but not required.
