We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This position is open to both UAE nationals and foreigners. We offer a salary of 1000 AED per month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining library collections, as well as helping patrons find the information they need. They will also need to handle cataloging and classification of books, periodicals, magazines, and other library materials.

Other duties include overseeing circulation desk activities, managing interlibrary loan requests, helping patrons with reference questions, offering instruction on how to use library resources or technology, preparing reports on library usage and services, developing library policies and procedures, conducting outreach activities in the community such as book talks or author readings. They must also be able to work with community organizations to develop programming.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and an attention to detail; they should also be knowledgeable in library sciences and possess great customer service skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
