Job summary

PPOAR in Sharjah, UAE, seeks a dedicated Librarian to manage collections, assist patrons, and promote services across a multicultural community.

Ideal candidates will hold a Library Science degree, have at least 2 years' experience, and possess strong English communication. Arabic knowledge is a plus; proficiency with cataloging systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Knowledge of cataloging systems and online databases.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
