Job summary

ConFlip in Zayed City is seeking an experienced Librarian to manage our public library’s collections, including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and other media.

You will ensure materials are properly categorized and easy to locate, assist patrons with research, and help plan events such as author readings or workshops.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum two years of library experience.
• Knowledge of cataloging systems (Dewey Decimal) and classification.

Job Description

You will also ensure that the materials are properly categorized and organized so that patrons can easily locate what they need. You will be expected to provide assistance with research projects as well as answer any questions patrons may have regarding library services and materials. In addition, you will plan special events such as author readings or workshops.
