Job summary

Dubai Future Foundation is seeking a Manager – Legal Affairs to support the Chief of Legal Affairs in implementing strategies across the Foundation and its entities. You will oversee daily operations of the legal function and provide strategic, commercially focused advice to internal stakeholders.

In this role you will draft, review and negotiate complex contracts, manage the full contract lifecycle, and ensure compliance with UAE laws and Foundation policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience in international law firms or private practice; UAE law experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Experience in information technology, commercial transactions, intellectual property, and corporate law.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief of Legal Affairs in implementing legal strategies across the Foundation and its entities.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Legal Department.
• Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Draft, review, update, and negotiate complex contracts and SOPs.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and contract change control processes.
• Provide ongoing legal advice and support to internal departments, project teams, and initiatives.
• Coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and internal teams to mitigate risk.
