Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a solutions-oriented Legal Counsel for its Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE), Integration & Solutions (I&S) segment in Dubai. The role focuses on strategic and transactional support, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and guiding governance frameworks across multiple regions.

The candidate will report to the Segment Counsel and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enable business objectives while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree.
• Active membership in at least one recognized bar association.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial and transactional legal matters.
• Proven expertise in complex contract negotiation and deal execution.
• Strong commitment to integrity, compliance, and professional ethics.
• Experience supporting large-scale, integrated, or technically complex projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including subcontracts, service agreements, NDAs, and collaboration agreements.
• Support development of governance frameworks and provide commercial legal support for the North America region.
• Balance risk management with business enablement in a dynamic, global environment.
