The Role

The Legal Assistant (Trainee) role is designed for individuals seeking to start their career in the legal field. This full-time role involves supporting attorneys and paralegals in various legal tasks, gaining exposure to different areas of law, and developing foundational skills for advancement within the legal profession.

Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with research and preparation of legal documents.
  • Maintain and organize client files and legal documents.
  • Coordinate the schedule of meetings, court appearances, and other legal events.
  • Collect, examine, and organize evidence and legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
  • Conduct preliminary legal research to assist with case preparation.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
  • Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
Requirements
