Job summary

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support in Judicial Review legal work, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the team. This role is crucial in managing legal documentation, conducting research, and assisting in case preparations. The Legal Assistant will work closely with solicitors and other legal professionals to facilitate the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist solicitors in preparing judicial reviews docs, including briefs, and pleadings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  2. Conduct thorough legal research using various databases and resources to support case preparation and strategy development.
  3. Manage and organize case files, maintaining up-to-date records and documentation for easy access and reference.
  4. Coordinate and schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
  5. Review and summarize legal documents, identifying key points and implications for lawyers/solicitors to consider.
  6. Assist in the preparation of trial docs.
  7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards in all legal practices.
  8. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas (UK)
Preferred Candidate

First Class degree / distinction student LLB/LLM

Good understanding of Public law, Judicial review and excellent drafting skills
