Job summary

Kingston Stanley seeks an experienced in-house Legal Counsel to act as a strategic partner across corporate, commercial, and technology matters in the UAE. You will advise senior leadership, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and help manage regulatory risk.

You have a law degree with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law, ideally in tech, IT services, or consulting environments, and a proactive, business-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a recognised university.
• 8+ years’ experience in legal advisory or in-house roles.
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law, ideally within technology, IT services, Holding Group or consulting environments.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior stakeholders on a range of commercial, corporate, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including IT services agreements, MSAs, SLAs, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and commercial risks across business activities.
• Manage disputes, claims, and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel where required.
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies and procedures.
• Support procurement, sales, and delivery teams on contract structuring and negotiation strategy.
