Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) seeks a Technical Manager to lead engineering and technical functions on major building construction projects. You will coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities, drive value engineering, and ensure compliance with contractual, codes, and standards. The role requires strategic engineering leadership and effective liaison with consultants, suppliers, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) is required.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and technical decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of BIM coordination, design interfaces, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multiple large-scale building projects.
• Develop technical strategies and establish engineering standards and procedures.
• Coordinate design interfaces among consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Review IFC/shop drawings, method statements, and calculations for quality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and regulations throughout the lifecycle.
• Support project managers and site teams to minimize technical risk and delays.
