Job summary

A global technology company is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to manage the commissioning of Substation Automation systems. This role demands a deep understanding of Networking and Cybersecurity, with 5 to 10 years of experience required. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and effective commissioning, interface with customers, and contribute to project improvements. Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Commissioning Engineer focused on Cyber Security.
• Experience on large and medium complex projects with Utility approval in UAE is preferable.
• Thorough knowledge of Networking & Cybersecurity implementation, including Malware protection, whitelisting.
• Working knowledge & understanding of GRS system on various protocols.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written Arabic and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of Substation Automation systems.
• Manage completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Contribute to the creation of the project commissioning philosophy.
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during the commissioning phase.
• Act as the lead for commissioning activities on a project, interfacing with customers.
