Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks a Structures Senior BIM Technician to lead the structural BIM of complex projects. You will oversee BIM execution, coordinate disciplines and ensure model health from concept to handover.

You will generate 2D deliverables, manage model quality, and implement BEP across project stages while maintaining alignment with company standards. This contract role requires 4–6 years BIM experience and a Civil/Structural Diploma.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of digital development and BIM best practice experience.
• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Familiarity with Revit interoperability with other disciplines.
• Project setup experience including CDE design models.
• Stay updated with digital tools relevant to building services.
• Understand procedures and deadlines; non-supervisory competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM processes across project stages from concept to handover.
• Ensure BEP alignment and project standards in models.
• Generate and manage 2D deliverables from BIM models.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models to ensure clash-free deliverables.
• Perform model checks for compliance with BIM standards.
• Coordinate with design teams to reflect design intent in models.
• Ensure drawings have correct scale, view templates, and title blocks.
