Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai seeks a Steel Structure and Welding Supervisor to oversee fabrication, assembly, welding, and installation preparation. You will coordinate teams, materials, equipment, and schedules to meet project drawings, codes, deadlines, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising welding processes (MIG/MAG/TIG), reviewing drawings, ensuring quality and documentation, and maintaining daily production records.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in welding, steel fabrication or structural engineering.
• Read and interpret structural/fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Supervise welding processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, arc) and welding procedures.
• Coordinate workshop teams, equipment, materials and daily production.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication, welding, cutting, fitting, grinding and preparation activities.
• Allocate work to welders, fabricators, fitters, technicians and workshop staff.
• Review drawings and material specifications for project requirements.
• Ensure work meets approved drawings, tolerances, procedures and standards.
• Oversee welding processes and inspect post-weld quality and documentation.
• Monitor material usage, equipment readiness, labour productivity and progress.
• Maintain daily production and inspection records; enforce safety controls.
