Job summary

Client of Dynamic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Supervisor for scaffolders on construction projects in the UAE. You will lead a team, plan daily work, interpret scaffold drawings, and ensure scaffolds are erected, maintained, inspected and dismantled safely and efficiently.

You will conduct pre-job safety briefings, enforce HSE policies, ensure PPE usage, coordinate with site engineers and other trades, and keep accurate records of manpower and materials while mentoring crew to improve safety

Qualifications

• Verify materials are suitable and in good condition before use.
• Conduct pre-job safety briefings and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
• Ensure all team members use required PPE.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Inspect completed scaffolds before handover and report defects.
• Maintain records of manpower, progress and materials.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Train and mentor scaffolders to improve safety practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise scaffolders on construction, maintenance or industrial projects.
• Plan, organize and allocate daily work activities for the crew.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, layouts and permits.
• Ensure safe erection, modification, inspection and dismantling of scaffolds.
• Coordinate with site personnel to support project activities.
