Job summary

ADNOC Oil & Gas invites applications for a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer. The role focuses on leading rotating equipment engineering activities for ADNOC projects, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and adherence to API/ASME/ISO standards.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in oil & gas, ADNOC project experience preferred, and strong knowledge of API 610/617/618/614/670. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
• Proven experience as a Lead Rotating Engineer / Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, gas turbines and steam turbines.
• Previous ADNOC project experience is highly preferred/mandatory as per project requirement.
• Strong knowledge of API 610, API 617, API 618, API 614 and API 670.
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Strong experience in equipment datasheets, technical specifications, requisitions and vendor document review.
• Experience in technical bid evaluation and vendor coordination.
• Experience with EPC contractors and major Oil & Gas projects.
• Knowledge of applicable ADNOC specifications and international engineering standards.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and technical communication skills.
• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates who are immediately available or serving a short notice period will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise rotating equipment engineering activities for ADNOC Oil & Gas projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables related to pumps, compressors, turbines and other rotating equipment.
• Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions and engineering documents.
• Review vendor documents, drawings, technical offers and equipment packages.
• Conduct technical evaluation of vendor bids and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications, project requirements, API, ASME, ISO and applicable international standards.
• Participate in vendor meetings, technical clarification meetings, FAT, inspections and commissioning activities as required.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
• Resolve technical issues related to rotating equipment and provide engineering recommendations.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure completion within project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and engineering teams.
• Participate in client/ADNOC meetings and provide technical presentations when required.
