Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai seeks a Lead Process Engineer for their sewage treatment plant project. The role involves overseeing the design and development of treatment processes, leading the drafting team, and preparing technical reports. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering, a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, and strong expertise in different sewage treatment processes. UAE experience is highly preferable, and a master's degree is a plus.

Lead Process Engineer (Sewage Treatment Plant)

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for all development of the treatment process within the SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
• He shall have excellent experience in carrying out the planning and preliminary and final and detailed design of the treatment of sewage.
• Have good knowledge of recent and updated technology associated with sewage treatment, odor controletc.
• Lead the drafting team and be able to produce all deliverables.
• Preparing the technical reports and studying the different alternatives

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering, from a recognized University. (Masters degree preferred) water/wastewater treatment-related fields
• Relevant engineering degree from a recognized university and 20 years of relevant experience with similar projects.
• Deep knowledge in primary, preliminary , secondary, and advanced treatment of sewage
• High expertise is sought after design and modeling of activated sludge systems especially at high temperatures
• Experience in the design and upgrade of large-scale municipal wastewater treatment plants
• ME experience is required, UAE experience is highly preferable
