Job summary

CMA CGM Abu Dhabi Regional Office is seeking a Ports & Terminals Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supplier relationships, and cost optimization for the P&T portfolio. You will develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Operations to ensure value delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in ports/shipping procurement, strong English communication, and experience with Category Management. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in procurement for ports, terminals, shipping or logistics are preferred.
• Strong English (spoken and written); French/Arabic is a plus.
• Proven negotiation skills across varied contract types.
• Experience with Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Project management capability in a dynamic, complex environment.
• Analytical and data-driven with ability to draw insights from large data sets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; able to influence without authority.
• Finance knowledge to interpret P&L and financial statements.
• Legal knowledge related to commercial contracts and concessions.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and creative in problem solving.
• MS Office mastery; Excel/PowerPoint; PowerBI would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Procure for Ports & Terminals portfolio and manage supplier relationships.
• Establish annual budget and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and SLAs to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain category playbooks and supplier scorecards.
• Lead workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Keep internal tools and playbooks up to date; drive global standards locally.
