Job summary

Albert Bow in Dubai/NY seeks a Lead Quantitative Platform Engineer to design and build the firm's quantitative platform from scratch, covering data architecture, real-time analytics and engineering infrastructure.

You will work closely with traders and quantitative researchers, with the scope to expand into pricing, risk and trading technology, shaping the firm's technology from day one.

Qualifications

  • Strong Python and software engineering skills.
  • Experience building scalable data architectures and high-performance pipelines.
  • Real-time/streaming and event-driven systems experience.
  • Strong SQL and modern database experience.
  • Experience with distributed or cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the firm's quantitative platform from scratch.
  • Work with traders and quants to shape data architecture and analytics infrastructure.
  • Develop real-time data processing and engineering pipelines to support pricing, risk, and trading technology.

About The Company

Our client is building a next-generation retail brokerage with institutional-level quantitative trading capabilities. This is an early-stage opportunity to help build the firm's core technology from the ground up.

The Role

They're looking for a Lead Quantitative Platform Engineer to design and build the firm's quantitative platform from scratch, covering data architecture, real-time analytics and engineering infrastructure.

You'll work closely with traders and quantitative researchers, with longer-term scope to expand into pricing, risk and trading technology.

Requirements
  • Strong Python and software engineering skills.
  • Experience building scalable data architectures and high-performance pipelines.
  • Real-time/streaming and event-driven systems experience.
  • Strong SQL and modern database experience.
  • Experience with distributed or cloud-native systems.
Nice to Have
  • C++, Rust or Java experience.
  • Systematic trading experience.
  • Knowledge of pricing, risk or financial modelling.
