Job summary

Alert International is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer for an onshore oil & gas EPC project in the UAE. You will lead the project master schedule, coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams, and manage critical path analyses to ensure alignment with completion targets.

The role requires 12+ years in EPC planning, ADNOC experience preferred, and proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and 3D review tools. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering; PMP/PSP a plus.
• 12+ years in EPC planning & scheduling, including detailed engineering.
• UAE/GCC onshore oil & gas experience preferred. ADNOC project experience/approval highly desirable. Background with major firms (Wood, Kent, Worley, Penspen) preferred.
• Required docs: attested degree, experience letters, certificates, passport copy.
• Valid CICPA/security pass required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning team and develop the project master schedule and baseline (Level 1 to Level 4).
• Develop and update engineering, procurement and construction schedules with the discipline leads.
• Carry out critical path analysis, resource levelling and what-if analysis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves and look-ahead schedules.
• Measure progress using the approved rules of credit. Report delays and propose recovery plans.
• Review subcontractor and vendor schedules for alignment with the master schedule.
• Support the Project Control Manager in client schedule reviews and claims analysis.
