Job summary

Allocation Assist seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join a leading tertiary healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. You will provide surgical care for infants, children and adolescents with congenital, acquired, and traumatic conditions, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.

The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration with neonatology, pediatric ICU, anesthesia, radiology and other subspecialties to optimize outcomes, participate in audits, teaching, and continuing

Qualifications

• Post-board consultant experience of 5-7 years in tertiary or academic hospital.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery.
• Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility in Pediatric Surgery.
• Strong neonatal and complex pediatric surgical expertise.
• Excellent surgical and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of pediatric surgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency pediatric surgeries.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Collaborate with neonatology, pediatric ICU, anesthesia, radiology and others.
• Participate in emergency surgical coverage and trauma care.
• Contribute to audits, teaching, and CME activities.
• Ensure documentation complies with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations.
