Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to lead the Pediatric Emergency Department in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes expert emergency care for infants to adolescents, departmental leadership, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include resuscitation leadership, resident mentoring, development of pathways and guidelines, and engagement in teaching, research, and clinical governance.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or Pediatrics with PEM fellowship.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post‑specialization experience at consultant level.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency assessment and management for pediatric patients across acute conditions and trauma.
• Lead pediatric resuscitation efforts including advanced airway management and life‑saving interventions.
• Coordinate care with subspecialists, surgeons, intensivists and other emergency physicians.
• Mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
• Contribute to teaching activities, clinical research, and CME involvement.
