Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. seeks a Consultant Physician in Paediatric Anaesthesia to lead delivery of high quality evidence-based care, supervise junior medical staff, and act as a clinical leader within the department of anaesthesia across Tawam and affiliated sites in Abu Dhabi.

The role involves managing pediatric anaesthesia services, leading ward rounds, participating in multi-disciplinary teams, on-call coverage, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and best practice

Qualifications

• NLT 2 years relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post board certification.
• NLT 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post board certification (includes years in fellowship training) in internationally accredited institute.

Responsibilities

• Supports, implements, and follows hospital, departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Leads ward rounds; reassesses inpatients and outpatients on a regular basis in line with best practice.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings to plan safe and holistic care for patients.
• Ensures preparation of patients for procedures including informed consent.
• On-call coverage on a rotational basis including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
